About The Chef

“Creating visually appealing and tasteful dishes is my artistic expression for you to enjoy.” – Chef Kerstin Pfeiffer

I’m a professional Chef with over 20 years of experience.

I have worked in traditional restaurant settings, resort kitchens and as an educator. Here on the Big Island of Hawaii I taught culinary full-time at Konawaena High School. Following this I taught as a full-time chef instructor at Palāmanui Community College. As for many of us the challenges brought upon the world in 2020 shifted my focus from teaching and I now work in the private sector. I am enjoying this transition immensely as it allows me to be my most creative self and to custom tailor my skills to my client’s desires and preferences.

I accommodate all tastes, food sensitivities, allergies and personal dietary preferences.

For me, cooking is?

My lifelong passion that started when I was a young child cooking with my dad.

A cooking secret?

Using the freshest and highest quality ingredients are key to excellent results. Your outcome is only as good as what you put in. :). Good stuff in, good stuff out: A model for life.
